Dr. K. Yamamoto

Profile:


Dr. Yamamoto graduated from the University of Alberta Medical School (Edmonton) in 1976. The following year he completed a rotating internship at the Holy Cross Hospital of Calgary. He then did his first year of residency at the University of Alberta (Edmonton) before transferring to the University of Manitoba Program where he spent an additional 3 years training. In 1981 he qualified as a certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians Surgeons of Canada. In 1983 Dr. Yamamoto became a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in 1984 he became a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and in 1985 became a Fellow of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. Dr. Yamamoto practice is mainly general obstetrics and gynecology with special interest in high risk pregnancies, pelvic pain, and menstrual disorders. He also has an interest in laparoscopy and the treatment of endometriosis.
