EKG Laboratory

Winnipeg Clinic's EKG/Stress Laboratory provides services in performing routine 12-lead electrocardiograms (ECG or EKG) and cardiac stress tests. They are useful diagnostic tests in the detection of a heart disease.

EKGs are performed on a walk-in basis, interpreted by a cardiologist and the test results are sent to the referring physician. Prior to having a cardiac stress test, physicians must refer their patients to our own cardiologists and the appointments will then be scheduled by the cardiologist's office. Cardiac stress test results are interpreted and discussed with the patient right after completion of the procedure and a cardiologist's report is sent to the referring physician.
